Utilizing their mobile app and the Rover platform, the team created scavenger hunt activation that was not only engaging for their fans and partners, but also drove thousands of app downloads ahead of their 50th season.

From mobile ticketing to stadium navigation, score updates to exclusive player and team content, and fun contests and sweepstakes, a team’s mobile app is a must have tool for any fan wanting to enhance their experience with their favorite team.

Many fans are unaware of the features and utilities a club app can provide to enhance their fan experience. Providing an easy to digest onboarding experience gives fans the opportunity to understand the benefits of the app, ensuring they get the most out of the mobile experience.

The experience walks fans through each of their app’s tab, with easy explanations for; accessing tickets, setting notifications, and stadium way-finding.

Taking it one step further, the Falcons included GIF animations to visually showcase ‘how-to’s’ for the most commonly used features of their app.

The Falcons onboarding experience loads instantly when the app is opened for the first time, providing a tutorial of what to expect in an engaging way.

On top of that, they have a dedicated team continuously creating strong content in the app, ensuring that fans continue to visit the app and guaranteeing that app users continue to find value and don’t drop off.
